Atlas of river Sava for sailors

Atlas of river Sava for sailors
A sailing tourist guide named `Atlas of River Sava for Nautical Tourism` has recently come out on the market and is aimed at sailing enthusiasts, amateur sailors and tourists. It is a unified project of 17 chamber of commerce associations of the Economic region in the tract of River Sava (ERUSRS) from Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. This is an area which covers around 940 km of the river and its coast, with about 6.8 million inhabitants, 140 thousand companies and a million vessels on River Sava each year, says the introduction of the issue.

The atlas contains articles, around 7000 photos of all the cities and regions along Sava and more than 100 nautical maps covering the whole river. It is based on an exploring trip of experienced sailors, who sailed Sava in 2010 form its source to the mouth of the Danube. It contains plenty of information about the tourist offer, entrepreneurial potential, cultural and historical heritage, as well as all the destinations along the river. With four national issues of the atlas, there is also an issue in English.

Cruising along Sava through Croatia and the countries of the region enables one to see hundreds of villages and a few dozen towns. Their uniqueness and beauty is described in this sailing tourist guide with an aim of bringing back nautical tourism to life in the whole region.
