Croatian chef wins bronze medal in Moscow among a thousand chefs from all over the world Croatian chef Josip Carević has recently won two bronze medals at the largest international chef and pastry chef competition in Russia – the International Kremlin Culinary Cup, which was held as part of the XII International hospitality fair PIR Hospitality Industry in Moscow. 850 companies from 25 countries participated in the fair, while there were more than a thousand chefs from 40 countries at the culinary competition.


Carević, who is a member of the Mediterranean and European regions chefs association, was the only Croatian representative at the competition. The jury, made up of representatives from the World chefs association as well as Russian chefs and caterers, awarded his sea food and meat dishes made from domestic Croatian ingredients.

With these medals Carević has once more confirmed the quality of Croatian gastronomy on the world gastronomy scene. The Croatian gastronomy representation has won more than 70 medals at various international culinary competitions.
