Zagreb - An ideal destination for American students

Students who wish to explore the latest "hot" destinations across Europe should go to Zagreb over the weekend, is the advice given by the well-known American newspaper Washington Square News, designed for the numerous student population.

The author of the recently published article notes that "unfortunately, most people who visit Croatia go to Dubrovnik and usually skip the capital of the country - Zagreb".

Bryan Meisel described his own visit to Zagreb. The first day he went exploring and found himself at the Museum of Broken Relationships in which exhibits represent former relationships of people from around the world.

"A visit to Zagreb is not complete without going to the Museum of Contemporary Art. The new museum of contemporary art offers a stunning exhibition but also a slide that takes you to the cafe, "says the author, and recommends a walk through Tkalčićeva Street, which has plenty of interesting cafes. It also recommends tasting of the Velebit beer and mistletoe brandy, which is, as stated, for the brave, because it's pretty strong.

American students are recommended a visit to the very center of Zagreb - Zagreb's Ban Jelačić Square and the market Dolac "where you can find organic fruits and vegetables." He notes that at every step you can find a bakery with delicious products that come in handy for tourists tired from walking.
