Kamenjak – The Istrian Cape Among the Most Desirable Secluded Beaches

The Istrian cape Kamenjak has recently been listed among the ten most desirable and interesting hidden beaches of the Mediterranean, according to The Lonely Planet, one of the most influential tour guides in the world.

Kamenjak was described as the ‘wild beauty’, situated south of Pula, which has earned its cult status among the visitors to Croatian beaches because of its wild, untouched nature and the feeling that you are standing at the «world`s end». The Lonely Planet points out its protected nature reserve status and the beauty of the crystal clear, blue-green sea, sandy bay, an abundance of wild flora and a labyrinth of dusty paths. For all those in search of fun and entertainment the beach bar is also recommended.

Cape Kamenjak has thus rightly found itself neck to neck with beaches like Cabo de Gata and Cap de Favartix in Spain, Banyuls in France, Cala Gonone in Sardinia, Delimara in Malta and the coast of the Tiren Sea in Italy. Also here are Luštica in Montenegro and two Turkish beaches Kabak and Goekceada.
