Hvar, Jelsa beach |
On the both sides of the harbor there are wooded coves ideal for relaxation and swimming. Thick pine forests, high poplars (which is quite rare on the Dalmatian islands), nice sand beaches, vineyards and olive-groves render Jelsa and its surroundings a special attraction. East of Jelsa is a sand cove called Mina, and on the small Glavica peninsula the public beach Soline. Since the sixties the islet of Zecevo has been frequented by nudists, which makes Jelsa one of the pioneers of nudist tourism on the Croatian coast.
Within a short walking distance there is a sandy beach bay Mina ideal for small children. A near hotel with many facilities is another advantage.
Hi,
ReplyDeleteRecently I came across some great articles on your site. The other day, I was discussing (http://travelincroatia.blogspot.in/2012/05/jelsa-sandy-beach.html ) with my colleagues and they suggested I submit an article of my own. Your site is just perfect for what I have written! Would it be ok to submit the article? It is free of charge, of course!
Let me know what you think
