''Istralandia'', the first Croatian water park, is located in the municipality of Brtonigla, a green oasis with a wonderful view over the Mirna river delta and the Adriatic sea.
'Istralandia' occupies 80,000
square metres and offers a large number of attractions for both chidren
and adults, such as the tallest water slide called Free fall, which
starts at an altitude of 27 metres, and the biggest swimming pool with
waves in the Mediterranean, occupying an area of some 2500 square
metres.
As well as an expanse of water covering 4,500 square metres, within the park there are also more than 1.2 kilometres of water slides of varying dimensions, a hydro-massage pool for adults on two levels covering an area of 900 square metres, a children's swimming pool complete with water castle and children's water slides covering an area of 1,000 square metres and an amphitheatre for concerts and shows with a capacity of 500 seats.
