The channel between Korcula and Peljesac peninsula is the place where blows good winds for kitesurfers and windsurfers.

Viganj – Peljesac Peninsula

Viganj is a small town near Orebic, which is a well-known location for windsurfing and kitesurfing. The wind that blows through a narrow channel between the Island Korcula and Peljesac peninsula gets the channel double strength.

Hvar – Island Hvar

Hvar are surrounded by Pakleni Islands, so channel between them and the Island Hvar also has a very good daily winds. The problem is that the area is very crowded.

Znjan – Split

Znjan has south and light refreshing mistral wind, lots of parking space, but only a small beach to start.

Pantana – Trogir

The shallow bay is suitable for summer learning kitesurfing. If blowing south wind kitesurfers disturbs landing of planes to the nearby airport Split.

Jadrija – Sibenik

Jadrija was a beach of town Sibenik, and today was a large village and beach. Favourable winds for kitesurfing are starting even earlier here, because mistral comes from the north Adriatic Sea to the south. Here are held the championship in windsurfing.

Premantura – near Pula

Open sea on three sides. South, bora, tramontana and the summer mistral – all winds provide favourable conditions for kitesurfing. Popularity of this sport grows in this part of the Adriatic.

Medulin – near Pula

Medulin is suitable for kitesurfing, when the tourists leave because of the large sandy beach within the camp Kazela. Winds are blowing from the south and southwest.
