Kukljica is a picturesque tourist and fishing village on the island of Ugljan near Zadar and the island of Pasman, well connected to the mainland by car ferry. With a small marina, situated in a picturesque bay, Kukljica is the most developed seaside resort on the island of Ugljan. Beautiful landscapes with thick pine forests, lovely beaches, crystal clear sea are just a part of its attractions.
The tourist village Zelena Punta (Green Cape) is located on a natural peninsula formed by inlet Kukljica. As a part of tourist settlement there is an arranged very long stony concrete beach with pebble areas and partly sandy sea bottom. Thick pine forest above the beach offers shade even during the warmest summer days. Aside swimming, the beach and the tourist village offer many recreational opportunities. On the beach equipment for water sports (pedalins, sandolins, canoes, surfing board) can be rented and there are also tennis courts, small playgrounds, boccia grounds, miniature golf, table tennis, volley ball, football and basketball courts. Within the complex there is a disco bar Coco's and a party beach club.
In the vicinity of Kukljica (15-20 minutes of slow walk) there are three sandy beaches Sabusa, Jelenica and Kostanj.
