Špancirfest festival will be held from 19 - 28 August for the 13th consecutive year in the Baroque city of Varažadin, situated in the northwest of Croatia. During this time the streets and squares of Varaždin become centres of music, theatre and many other art forms as street performers take over the town. The Varaždin street festival Špancirfest is also called ‘the festival of good emotions’. It is one of the most visited festivals in Croatia and the region. During the past 12 years it has been visited by more than two million people and more than 11000 performers from all over the world, some of whom are established names on the world music scene. During the ten days of the festival there are over 250 hours of program: world music concerts, rock, blues, ethno music, children`s programs and shows, adult theatre comedies as well as street performers’, entertainers’ and musicians’ shows.
