Park Plaza opens in Croatia

The name of the famous international hotel brand Park Plaza will this season be carried by three tourist facilities in Croatia - Histria Hotel in Pula, tourist resort Punta Verudela and Medulin Hotel in Medulin.

Since 2008, the Park Plaza has been managing one of Croatia’s largest hotel companies and these three Arenaturist facilities will, after a complete reconstruction which is currently underway, also become a part of the Park Plaza brand. Arenaturist investments amount to about 200 million kuna. The opening of the four-star Park Plaza Hotel Medulin has been announced for the beginning of May, while Park Plaza Histria and Park Plaza Punta Verudela should be open in late May to early June.


The refurbishment in all 3 buildings includes accommodation areas, common areas, reception and restaurant, outdoor and indoor pools, a new "Kids Club" in the resort of Park Plaza Verudela and a spa and convention center at Park Plaza Histria.

Park Plaza owns, keeps or manages another 38 international hotels which will soon be joined by three Croatian ones and by 2014, another 11 hotels for which plans are currently being drawn or which are currently undergoing construction.
