Audi FIS Ski World Cup “Vip Snow Queen Trophy” 2012

This season, the Audi FIS World Cup “VIP Snow Queen Trophy” races will be held on Tuesday 3rd January 2012 for the women’s night slalom and on Thursday 5th January 2012 for the men’s night slalom. Around 75 of the world’s best female and 75 of the world’s best male slalom racers, from around 28 countries and four continents, will participate in the event, with the support of some 400 team members and officials. The “VIP Snow Queen Trophy” is now traditionally conceived as a multi-day event in which the very city centre is involved. In the days preceding the competition, a live draw will be held on the Ban Josip Jelačić square, along with concerts by Croatian and/or international artists on the 2nd and 4th of January. In addition to the concerts, there will be parties for representatives of sponsors and VIP guests at the Writer’s Club, and for teams, journalists, sponsors and guests at the Hemingway bar, creating a strong image of the event as a sport and entertainment event. The races will be promoted in weekly Newsletter issues in December, as well as through social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and You Tube, which were used in promoting the event for the first time last year.
