Vodice - "Olympia“ awaits a luxury makeover

A large tourism investment worth 220 million kunas (30 million euro) should begin this year, which would add a new five-star hotel with 190 luxury rooms, additional facilities, an indoor pool, a garage and a conference hall to Hotel Olympia in Vodice. The project for the hotel with cascading terraces on nine floors, in which all of the rooms would face the sea, also envisages the construction of a big swimming pool on the penultimate floor and mini-pools on all the other levels.

The entire hotel complex will get new green surfaces as well. In the past five years, 80 million kuna was invested in the exsisting 215 rooms and 26 suites of the hotel Olympia. Among other things the improvements encompased the construction of a new multipurpose sports and convention hall with more than 600 seats, two smaller conference rooms with 80 and 130 seats and a modern wellness and spa. The beach was also fully renovated, as were the sanitary and commercial and service facilities. The hotel, located 500 meters from the center of Vodice and 50 meters from the sea, is known for organizing conferences and seminars.
