Novalja - Papaya among the best clubs in the world

The Papaya in Novalja celebrates its tenth anniversary this season and will this summer be a host to more than 70 top DJs. As a birthday present, it received an award from the prestigious music magazine DJ MAG, which included it among the world's best clubs. Papaya was designated the 30th best club of the world in 2012. Thanks to this, it was recently mentioned in the news of many international media as the new jewel of Mediterranean leisure.

The tenth anniversary season will be marked by numerous performers and the richest program in the history of this famous European summer destination.


Ten festivals, the best DJs of today, music and theatrical programs and artistic and visual surprises will entertain guests and tourists from around the world. One of the world's finest DJ's, Armin Van Buuren, who will perform for the fourth time in Papaya Day & Night Festival and Swedish DJ star Axwell, a member of the popular musical attraction Sweedish House Mafia, who has proclaimed his appearance in club Papaya 2010 as his best performance of the season, have confirmed their arrival. The leaders of the new generation of DJ`s, Hardwell, Nicky Romero, Bingo Players and Thomas Gold are a part of this year's event and will for the first time ever feel the magic of this Croatian island. Well-known guests of Papaya, the Freemasons and The Shapeshifters as well as Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano will be coming back, to the delight of their many fans. English superstar DJ Eddie Halliwell will perform his own residence: Fire It Up. Also performing in Papaya will be Michael Woods, Tim Mason and Chris Lake. The most famous Italian DJs Nari & Milani, Riva Starr and Alex Kenji will also be first-time guests of the club Papaya, while Cristian Marchi keeps returning enthusiastically, as do AN21 & Max Vangeli - Swedish school pupils from Steve Angello`s Size Records. The arrival of French DJ Joachina Garraud has also been confirmed.

Papaya in Novalja, on the famous beach Zrće, on the island of Pag has been visited in the past seasons by guests from more than 80 countries.

But besides the parties on Zrće, which was named Croatian Ibiza by the world media, the nearby Katarelac beach could also accommodate tourists looking for top music and entertainment next year. The Pacha, the third best entertainment club in the world by the choice of DJ MAG as well as being one of the oldest and most famous clubs in the mecca of electronic and clubbing entertainment - Ibiza, plans to open a club on the beach in Kolan.

A modern family aqua park should open on the beach Katarelac, and the possibility of construction of a four-star hotel is also being mentioned.
