yourself with a unique spring gastronomic rhapsody available from
fourteen restaurants in Labin area. Each restaurant offers two menus
with asparagus and two menus with cuttlefish. Asparagus (called Å¡paruge
in the Istrian dialect) are known as the queen of Istrian forests and
covert and the main ingredient of spring menu: from classic scrambled
eggs (fritaja), traditional meat delicacies such as istrian prosciutto with homemade pasta – pljukanci or fuži, to
modern snacks – muffins with asparagus. Adriatic cuttlefish is caught
in late winter and early spring, near a rocky coast, and the most famous
specialty in the black cuttlefish risotto. Two – course menu is
available from 80 kn, and the three course menu is 120 kn. Each menu
includes a glass of wine. Days of Asparagus and Cuttlefish are jointly
organized by Labin – Rabac Tourist Board and the Craftsmen Association
of Labin.
